College Escape : Tadom Hill Resorts, Banting.

January 11, 2017

On 12th November 2016, me and my friends went for a short college escape as we needed a break from studies and lectures. We decided to do Tadom Groove. It's close to Sepang anyway and we took about 30 minutes from UNITEN.

We arrived there around 0900 so we quickly parked our car and went straight to ticket counter. Since we went on weekend, we had to pay RM 23 for one day pass per person. This was last year rates, according to their website now:

WEEKDAY
Adult                                              RM 22
Child (aged 3-12)                    RM 17

WEEKEND
Adult                                              RM 25
Child (aged 3-12)                    RM 20

For walk-in day pass, it's available on first-come, first-served basis so no booking required. You don't need to worry if you don't bring your own food as cafe is provided. For muslim, surau is provided too. Also, if you want to spend the night there, they have 4 different types of accommodation that you can choose. Last, the most crucial thing; toilet is also provided. (The toilet was clean so yeay!). For more info you can just go to their website

It also has many exciting features like bamboo diving platforms known as Tadom Splash, floating lounge chairs (made with bamboo), water rafts, Tarzan swings and water swings. My favourite part was Tarzan swings even though I had muscle sore all throughout my body the very next day 😒.

The raft was NOT easy. You want it, you have to fight for it. And to get on it was not an easy task too. To stable the raft once you're on it is not easy too. You snooze you lose. You can't get on it fast enough, you lose! Say goodbye to your rakit la weh 😅. Easier if you come and conquer in group just like we did.

Verdict, I would rate 4/5. It's a good place to hang with friends and family for water fun, indeed. What I like most about Tadom is their focus on sustainability; how almost of its structures are built entirely with bamboo!

TIPS :
  1. Sunscreen (unless you just love tanning yourself but but but excessive vitamin D is dangerous too)
  2. Food from home/college so that you can eat happily without splurging any more money at cafe 😉
  3. Go early as the place is crowded (but once you're in water, you won't feel the crowd anymore)
Here is a video I made.
